AbiWord

I have no idea what this is other than Free Microsoft word so hear it goes.

Other than being really nervous download all these different software, I don’t feel that I need them. I already have Microsoft word and I did not pay too much for it. 

I am downloading Abiword know and I notice it has a very old looking set-up page.

It is installing but after making a few folders it stopped for a few seconds and complete shortly after.

It gives the basic complete and do you want to run the program so I start it up.

I can see why I thought the setup pop-up looked old, Abiword looks ancient compared to the 2013 version of Microsoft word it looks like old Notepad with a few Word tabs.

I try using it a complete new pop-up for Abi shows up after hitting new instead of the old one closing which is good and bad.

It has all the basic functions and you can do most if not everything that you can do in Microsoft

I don’t like it myself but if someone cannot afford Microsoft work I can see why they would go with this one.
